I've cleaned out several birds' nest under the dome on my propane tank and l do not know how to keep them out.l wanna keep the opening open for venting, yet keep the birds out.l thought about chicken wire, but I am afraid it might spark which would not be a good thing around the propane tank.

Nothing on the internet has been any help.

How do I keep birds from building a nest under the dome of my propane tank

Use plastic garden netting or mesh. Hold it in place with plastic garden ties. These are available in most, if not all, garden centres.
